Our Farm

Housed on 93 acres and owned by Bloomfield Hills Schools since 1967.  Animals such as sheep, horses, cattle, and goats graze the pastures along with acres of vegetable production, community gardens, and curated horticultural gardens.

Our mission is to cultivate community through education and engagement with agriculture and the local food system.

The authenticity of a small-scale working farm connects students and the community to where their food comes from. Learning comes alive with meaning and purpose as we welcome every learner to discover and wonder in the world around them. Bowers School Farm has something to explore each season!

Education happens within the context of the larger community. Our approach extends beyond the four walls of the classroom to help ensure students are engaged in meaningful exploration and excited to learn!
